The organiser –Malaysian Productivity Corporation #MPC & Grounded Learning (M) — presented a combination of experts from #UniversitiPutraMalaysia and #InternationalIslamicUniversityMalaysia for the first “Awareness Seminar on Behavioural Insights for Better Regulations” held at Hilton Petaling Jaya on 28th March 2018. About 150 Malaysian policy makers and representatives from government agencies attended.

Among the objectives of the Awareness Seminar were to share their experiences in using behavioural insights in creating innovative interventions and showcase applications of behavioural insights in the built environment.

A forum moderated by Prof. Rahinah afterwards got so energized and hard to end. Nevertheless, the panelists concluded with highlights on key aspects of behavioural insights besides recommendations for immediate and future actions for Malaysian policy makers. The Awareness Seminar was earlier officiated by YBhg. Dato’ Mohd. Razali Hussain, the Deputy Director General, Malaysia Productivity Corporation. Several members from UPM’s Built Environment Informatics Research Group were present.
