A delegation from Nara Medical University (NMU) visited the Institute of Gerontology (IG), Universiti Putra Malaysia in preparation for MOU signing ceremony between the two universities. NMU is lead by Professor Dr Tomohiro Umeda who is the President of MBT Links, a startup company of NMU involved in developing medical services and social welfare. IG was led by Datuk Professor Tengku Aizan Tengku Abdul Hamid and her multidisciplinary team of researchers. The delegation also visited the newly completed MyAgeing Complex at UPM. Prof Dr Rahinah is honoured to see both parties coming together for the benefit of two countries.
